I wish people on youtube would learn to spell

Seriously. Today was the 500th time or so that someone misread one of my comments giving me an angry comment back or a channel comment calling me a bitch or something. Now I don't really mind them being mad or annoyed by my opinion (although I don't get why) but if they reply they should at least use proper grammar and spelling. It really isn't that hard to write you instead of u and are instead of r. Really people, be angry all you want but use proper english (or dutch) and the world's a slightly better place already.

OMG shoes

I bought new shoes today :D And they were like, cheap! I haven't bought shoes that don't cost an arm or a leg (or both) in years. The downside of being tall and having big feet :( apparently women can't buy decent shoes that are larger than a size 42 (which is a size 8 outside of Europe I think). If you ever hear of a shoestore burner in Belgium, that would be me. shoes are big source of aggravation for me. But yeah, then I found these :D and they're totally awesome, here's why, the side and heel says OMG on it! Okay, actually it's DMG which is the brand but it kind of almost looks like OMG :D
I admit it, new shoes make me happy...

I love my room

And here is why. First of all, I have the most awesome dragon painted on my wall. The colours are a bit different from the picture though, the dragon is a dark red and my wall is beige-ish. In the bottom right corner of the pic on the right you see another reason why I love my room. It's the latest addition to my collection of dragons (which is absolutely tiny :p) but I'm very much in love with him. His name is Tristan and he's a heavy little baby dragon. As you can see on the left he's quite big and he's completely in bronze. At first my dad was told he's a Griffin but seeing as nothing about him is lion or eagle I've decided he's just a regular baby dragon. Ofcourse he needs a mum to take care of him. and luckily for him there's Ephemera. She's my gorgeous wooden dragon that hangs above my bed and guards me at night. She's also doing a great job in raising Tristan and teaching him how to hunt. Those are all the dragons I have (apart from the hatchling which I've talked about before) but there are still 2 more things I want to show you. First of all there's this beautiful oil painting of a doll. It was made for me by grandmother and it has had a special place in my room ever since. The photo really doesn't do it any justice but this already was the best one I was able to make (my photographing skills are terrible). And lastly there's this pencil drawing of a killer whale mum and her baby, also made by my grandmother. I used to be killer whale crazy and before we moved my entire room was killer whale/dolphin themed and this drawing fit in perfectly with that.
So there you have it, the top 5 reasons why I love my room. Tell me about yours?

Preparations are progressing quickly

I can't believe how quick the Australian visa department is! I finished my application a bit before midnight and at 10 am I already had a mail saying it's been granted ^^
Next stop, booking a flight!

The preparations continue...

So, I got my passport today which was kind of exciting because even though it's just a stupid passport it's the first time ever that I have one. It's also the start of my journey really and I'm very excited about going to Australia and being with my boyfriend and meeting his family and all.
I literally finished filling in my visa application about 2 minutes ago and now all I can do is wait for it to get approved ^^ I was surprised by how easy it is to apply for one on line. I had expected a bunch of questions about why and for how long I want to be in the country but all they wanted to know was a minimum of personal information and whether I was going as a tourist or for business. But that has been sent and now all I can do is wait for the e-mailof approval.

(P)EEP

As I'm writing this it's 6.20 am, I haven't slept tonight and I have a very good reason for that. There's a mouse in my living room. I saw it for the first time around 2am and started trying to catch it but it's still out here and I can't find it now :\
I checked the kitchen (which is tiny) and I'm pretty sure it's not there but I've also checked the living room every half hour since two and I haven't found it here either. It's making me kind of paranoid and I don't like that at all.
I wish I had a cat >.< then the problem would be solved...

Preparations have officially started

So as you probably know I'm going to Australia this summer to be with my awesome boyfriend. even though it's still more than three months away the preparing has officially started today ^^ It's just a silly little thing but all forms for my passport are gone so I'll have that in a week and a half. Next step, applying for a visa.
