Week 11: Addicting White Chocolate Chip Cookies

These are my first ever chocolate chip (well, chunk) cookies and they are actually a modifies recipe for regular chocolate chip cookies. I had a lot of white chocolate lying in the fridge and no one here really eats it so I decided to just try this and boy did it work out well. You start by taking 400 grams of flour, half a teaspoon of bicarbonate, half teaspoon of baking powder and half a teaspoon of salt and mixing it all togehter. In another bowl mix 160 grams of butter with85 grams of soft brown sugar, 85 grams of white (refined) sugar and a tablespoon of honey with a mixer, add two eggs one at a time while beating at a slower pace, otherwise the batter will seperate. Slowly add in the flour mixture and finally add 200 grams of chocolate chopped into chunks (you can ofcourse use store bought chocolate chips). The dough should be quite solid, make small doughballs (or large if you want large cookies) and squish them so they are a bit cookieshaped, make sure to space them enough on the baking tin and then put them in a preheated oven at 180°C for 10-12 minutes. The best way to store these is in a cookie tin with some baking paper in between them.
Yummmmmm cookies...
